The voluntary recall of certain Daytrana lots is not due to safety issues.  Daytrana patches are being recalled because the patches no longer meet or may not in the future meet their release liner removal specification.  As a result, patients and caregivers could have difficulties removing the liners. All Daytrana patches, can continue to be used unless the release liner cannot be removed, or the patches are damaged while being opened.
